Quick-connect terminals are convenient and efficient, suitable for small current scenarios such as lighting and control circuits; however, they need to be carefully selected in environments with high current, high temperature, or vibration. Poor-quality products may have poor contact or even pose fire hazards.

Key advantages and disadvantages

Advantages: The connection speed is extremely fast (completed in seconds), no need to strip wires or use adhesive tape, the appearance is neat, and they support repeated insertion and removal, significantly reducing the error rate of manual work.

Limitations: Some low-priced models have weak current-carrying capacity (only applicable to 0.5 - 2.5mm² wires), and they are prone to overheating due to increased contact resistance under high current; they are sensitive to installation techniques and product quality.

Risk points: Using non-regular brands or incorrect selection (such as for high-power loads like instant water heaters) may cause excessive temperature rise, corrosion, or even fire.

Key usage suggestions

Scene matching: For lamps, socket circuits, PLC signal lines, etc., with a cross-sectional area of ≤ 4mm² and a current of ≤ 25A, these terminals are the preferred choice; for high-power equipment like air conditioners and electric water heaters, the rated current of the terminals must be verified (it is recommended to select high-current series with safety certification such as WAGO 221).

Brand and certification: Prioritize choosing well-known brands with CQC/CE/UL certifications (such as Wanke and Delixi regular series), and avoid purchasing cheap products without labels.

Operational norms: Insert the hard wires directly, and ensure the copper wires do not have loose strands when inserting the soft wires; after wiring, manually pull and test the firmness; never use them beyond the rated capacity.

Environmental considerations: Select waterproof and dustproof types for humid environments, and for vibration scenarios, confirm that they have a locking structure (such as spring self-locking)
